4900
High-Speed Programming
The 4900 is powered by the newest BPM 9th generation technology, which delivers the fastest programming speeds in the industry for MCU’s, eMMC HS400, NAND, NOR and Serial Flash devices. BPM 9th generation technology produces 200 MHz signals, allowing each byte of data to transfer in up to 2.5 ns. Up to 9 times faster than competing programmers.
What’s Inside
The 4900 supports up to twelve programming sites, with up to 48 individual socket cards, for high volume production. Our Vector Engine Co-Processor accelerates flash memory waveforms during the programming cycle. The result is programming near the theoretical limits of the silicon design — the faster the device, the faster the device is programmed. 3D Vision inspection option inspects BGA, CSP, QFP, TSOP, SOIC and J-Lead devices for coplanarity, bent lead, pitch, width, diameter, standoff and XY errors. WhisperTeach™ automatically teaches component Z-height, eliminates human error and prevents pick failures. Raydiance™ Laser Marker option produces high-contrast, human and machine readable marks on all package types. Flexible options for input and output include tray, tube, and tape. Software API tools allow tight integration with your manufacturing process for inventory control and process management.
True Universal Support
The 4900 offers True Universal Support – One solution for all your device programming requirements and compatible with existing 7THGEN and 8THGEN socket cards and algorithms, so our customers can retain the value of their investment in assets. One universal programming site for all devices reduces the number of systems, sites and sockets you need to buy, saving you money, training, complexity, floor space and reducing the size of the system.
High-Quality Socket Cards
Socket cards provide the electro-mechanical interface between your device and the programmer. They’re precisely designed to deliver high-fidelity waveforms to the programmable device, ensuring very high first-pass yield. Each individual socket card can be fully utilized and easily replaced to maintain full programming capacity. Our socket card design, with a receptacle socket option, ultimately increases your manufacturing uptime, produces higher first-pass yield, and saves replacement costs by as much as 75 percent.
